Rules of Omaha Poker

One of other popular form of poker is Omaha. It’s played with both high and low hands. Omaha is known as Omaha high low or Omaha “hi – low “. Omaha limit high is on the leading position in European diasporas .Where as in United States it’s gaining the popularity as “hi low”. One need to better comprehend the rules and strategies associated with the game before actually playing it. Other wise it would make some one bit puzzled. There is a deep connection between Omaha and Texas Holdem though with some major variations as follows –

 

 It is played with four cards which are the pocket cards.

 For best hand player should use 2 pocket and 3 community cards.

 The limit of players is ten.

 

At the time of first betting round every player deal with 4 pocket cards in the face down position. There is no as such difference in the rounds among both the game.All the terms preflop, small blind, flop, turn, river contains the exact meaning as in the Texas Holdem. Just remember one thing one can not play the board in Omaha.
